We had a big day at the EPCOT Center, Disney MGM, and finally Disney Downtown.
Lawrence enjoyed himself, as you can see from this photo.
Lawrence and I left San Francisco Airport and headed to
Orlando via Chicago. It was a long day of travel, but we finally made it to
Orlando and tucked ourselves away in our very Disney-themed hotel. We are both
looking forward to visiting Disney World Park tomorrow.

Disney World is such a strange place. It can be fun,
but it is so unreal, artificial, and tacky that it sometimes overwhelms you
with its falseness.

Mina pointing the way ahead.
It has been one year exactly since Mina died.
I was there that night when she took her last breath. I miss her a great deal
and have missed her every day since she was taken from me; I will always miss
her and love her until I am dead.
Mina suffered during her two-year fight with cancer.
She endured many awful side effects from the chemotherapy and much pain from the
tumors that eventually killed her. In the last weeks, she lost all of her
brilliant abilities. But Mina did not let any of this suffering break her
positive and pragmatic outlook on life. She refused to change her view, even
when facing death itself. How could she have been so brave? This is who Mina
was, and I love her even more for it.
This was the last day at Disney World for us and one more
step on our journey to the Antarctic.
Goodbye, my Little Bunny.
