Skiing in 2010

Heavenly

January 5 to 7, 2010: South Lake Tahoe California

You can see from this photo that more snow is needed.

Julia and I headed up to South Lake Tahoe for three days of skiing in the picturesque Lake Tahoe area.

There had been quite a bit of snow fall in December, but by the time we go there it had been melted and refrozen a few times. It was less like skiing and more like ice skating by the time we got there. Still it was fun sliding down the lovely tree-lined runs at Heavenly.

Julia's skiing is progressing leaps and bounds, or slips and slides. She is getting more and more enthusiastic about her skiing. All we need now is a bit of luck with our timing and catch some good snow.
