The second generation was introduced in 2009 and leasing in the U.S. began in January 2011, limited to 250 units.[224][226][227] Deliveries of the third generation model began in the U.S. in May 2013,[228] and are scheduled to begin in Europe during the second quarter of 2013, and will be available in more than 30 markets worldwide.[225][229] More than 8,800 units have been sold in North America and Europe through June 2014.
